Random Stuff People Google To Find My Site.

Just for giggles (and because I didn't watch anything worth writing about last night), here are some of the most popular phrases people Google to find this blog.

"kent avenido filipino"

This is THE MOST popular phrase that links to my site. It seems the entire Philippine nation loves Howard Bamboo. Glee writers, are you taking note?

"america's next top model jennifer lazy eye"

This is another biggie. I don't know why people are still Googling her. Jennifer, if you're reading this, know that there are tons of people out there still thinking about you.

"courteney cox 40 is the new 20"

Believe it or not, I am the #1 link if you Google that phrase. Hollaaa. Also, a lot of people misspell Courteney.

"bachelor diversity white"

I am the #1 link here, too! Hey, ABC--I am not the only one tired of the same old, same old.

"what's on after the super bowl" With the big game on Sunday, I've gotten a lot of these lately. (Undercover Boss, you're welcome.) Hey CBS, you might want to do some marketing. Put up a poster or something. People have no clue.

There you have it. The random stuff people want to know about. By the way, Google, thanks for sending so many visitors my way!

America's Next Top Model: A Farewell to Jennifer

Many people who visit this blog find it by Googling any combination of "America's Next Top Model" and "Jennifer" and "lazy eye." I know this because of Sitemeter, a lovely website that measures my blog's traffic.

I'm still getting people who Google Jennifer, even though she was kicked out a week ago. So, in honor of one of my favorite contestants ever, I will share my thoughts on her elimination:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those of you who cared enough about La Lazy Eye to Google her, I know. I 100% feel your pain. No, it wasn't fair that she didn't make it past this round because of one bad photo. In hindsight, every photo she took featured her with her mouth open like a fish. But still, she was gorgeous, and friendly to ALL the girls, and seemed like an all-around cool chick. Best of all, she could've been the first Asian American winner of Top Model. This was our season, dangit!

By "our" I don't just mean Asian Americans. I also mean short people. Someone pointed out to me recently that runway models do a lot of picture-taking--i.e., posing for magazines and stuff. They're not walking an actual runway all the time. So why do they need to be six feet tall? The answer: They don't.

So this is my plea to you, ANTM: Can we have another short people season? (And by short people I mean regular-sized people?) Because for a change, the girls this season actually looked...normal. Relateable.

Also, how about a spinoff featuring male models? Just a thought...

America's Next Top Model: Smize With Your Lazy Eye

This season's America's Next Top Model features all short girls for the first time in 13 cycles. By short they mean anyone under 5'7". This makes me cry, for if 5'6" is considered short, well just call me Lilliputian.

In the last episode of ANTM, Tyra introduced a word that I cannot take seriously, and neither could Miss J, judging by the look on her face when Tyra explained what it meant. That word is "smize," and it means "smile with your eyes." I'm all about smiling with your eyes, but please don't shorten it like that.

The girls more or less mastered this concept. However, one girl, Jennifer, struggled because she has a LAZY EYE. I felt terrible for her. A lazy eye does whatever it wants and you pretty much have to deal with it. It's not fair then, to expect Jennifer to smize. In fact, if smizing were so important to this season, why did you even pick her to be on the show? Oh right, token Asian.

Now I know, other girls have had obstacles to overcome. That girl who was blind, for instance. And the girl with the horrendous teeth. But...I don't remember them asking the blind girl to smize. And they fixed the girl's teeth. So my plea to you, ANTM, is please either give Jennifer some quick-o surgery to fix her lazy eye, or stop asking her to smize. In fact, let's stop using the word smize altogether, because Noah Webster is rolling over in his grave.
